Skanska has embarked on an exciting collaboration with Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company (SKB) to expand the existing repository for short-lived radioactive waste (SFR) in Forsmark. This is not just any project; we are talking about an expansion of approximately 117,000 cubic meters in the bedrock, 120–140 meters below ground. A unique project, full of technical challenges, smart solutions, and the opportunity to work in one of Sweden's most fascinating mountain areas.

About the role of Night Supervisor

As a night supervisor, you will play a central role in rock production. You:

  • Plan, direct, and follow up on production together with the rock workers
  • Document bolt installation, shotcrete, and injection
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire your team towards common goals
  • Work with work preparations, diaries, and reporting of blasting charges
  • Be responsible for drilling and loading plans
  • Coordinate with the production manager
  • Communicate with subcontractors, clients, suppliers, geologists, measurement technicians, and other wonderful colleagues

We believe you are…

An experienced and confident supervisor in rock excavation who enjoys working nights. You are flexible, quality-conscious, communicative, and the one who leads by example when needed. For us, it is important that you share our views on safety, work environment, and team spirit; we work best when we work together.

For the role, you need:

  • 2–3 years of experience as a supervisor in rock excavation
  • Driver's license B
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing
  • Basic computer skills

Extra plus if you have: blasting training, drilling license, CE license, or vocational certificate as a rock worker.
